You know, “By visiting this Web site you have announced to the world that you are an atheist!”
And since it’s irrevocable they should know that they’ve added to a grand total of some-number of Atheists world wide.

I would enjoy being part of the conversation if I might and begin by making two points. First, I would like to apologize for the person who said, “God does exist you Idiot”. That’s the way to influence them!
Second, in all the writing for and against the existence of God on this blog, no one has supported any of their claims with any research. No one’s “thoughts” are proof of any thing. So, if we are going to have a rousing intellectual debate, let’s do our homework and put some teeth in it.

I just wanted to add that I think the home page with the 10 “rules” or “recommendations” could be shortened. They give the effect of a commandment which a lot of us are trying to escape from. Basically they should announce that we do not believe in a god or diety and we thrive to be the best person we can be. I am looking for an escape from religion but still regard the basic legalities of the western society,,, I will not kill or steal or whatever. I just believe in approaching each day with regard and happiness to be alive and do not have intention to impact negatively on anyone elses experience.
