So this website is hosted by an atheist that states they are unconvinced of God’s existence not one that states that he/she does not exist. If this is the case then why blog about it as if it were some celebrated truth, who cares this conviction of yours only states a state of thought nothing more. Any one who goes out of thier way to write this much must be convinced that there is something worth defending but no one really cares. Atheist weren’t killed with jews or enslaved with africans or fed to lions like christians. I doubt that this will ever happen to atheist so for now deal with what ever struggle your going through and remember that you won’t be sleeping with lions anytime soon.

If someone is color blind how can you convince them that the sky is blue? Does it change the fact that it is? Should this color blind individual go around proclaiming to everyone that the sky is actually not blue?

The argument also seems to place high value on the benefits of belief. For example, would you buy a lottery ticket, put it in a safety deposit box, never check to see if it won, and then be comforted by the knowledge that after you die your children may find it and be millionaires?

What? Who cares either way? What does a lottery ticket have to do with believing and becoming convinced? Just wondering.

Pascal’s wager assumes that God doesn’t care whether belief is sincere or not, so long as you believe. But what if God values someone who intelligently (but incorrectly) chooses atheism over someone who chooses theism purely, selfishly, because it offers the best possibility of reward?

What? what then is belief?
