When someone tells you that they are an atheist, you must not assume this tells you everything you need to know about their worldview.  It would be foolish for me to assume, upon hearing that you are a Christian, that you believe in predestination or think that contraceptives are immoral.  Similarly, you should not assume that the atheist you just met holds any particular political or philosophical opinions simply based on their atheism.  It is very easy, even natural, to fall into this trap, but if you really want to change someone&#039;s thinking it is imperative that you understand them as an individual, rather than a stereotype.  There are as many kinds of atheism as there are atheists.]]></description>
